Our Services

We offer both in-person (if available under the best available medical advice) and Telehealth (phone or Internet based) professional counseling and psychotherapy for adults, youth, children, families, and groups. Therapy services are provided by licensed clinicians and interns in both California and Oregon. This program is the centerpiece of what we do.

Our Approach is:

co-creative, compassionate, open-minded, and holistic.

Confidential and Non-Judgmental Consultation

Our Process

After you contact us, we will work with you to make an appointment for a confidential and non-judgmental consultation. Basically, we listen to what’s going on with you, answer your questions, and offer some ideas and options on what you might do next. We can offer you counseling services at the Institute and/or referrals for treatment or support elsewhere. If you choose to see a therapist here, we will match you with someone based on your needs. Consultations are available to anyone.

Nobody Turned Away for Lack of Funds

Our Fees

All services are offered on a wide sliding scale. The Liberation Institute is committed to offering therapy and services to the entire community. While we do have fees and suggested donations, no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Fees are discussed and determined on an individual basis in the initial consultation session.

The point is: come on in and if you have concerns about finances don’t let them get in the way.

Our Staff

With a diverse clinical staff of well over 60 therapists, we offer a wealth of helpful possibilities. Our dedicated team of licensed volunteers and psychotherapy interns are ready to help.
