Grief Support Group

Join us to be with Grief in a community of support

Grief is a part of being human, and can feel isolating. But, you don’t have to grieve alone. We will create a safe space together, to authentically explore the grief within us, however it looks today. We may be grieving loved ones we have lost, a now impossible dream or future, parts of ourselves, or the losses and sorrows of the world. Allowing our grief to be heard and held in community provides space for these deep human feelings. We will support the true expression of each individual’s grieving process. What unfolds within this group will be determined by the needs of this specific community. We will provide a space to feel, to heal, to acknowledge, to process, to be present, and to be held. As we journey, we may use prompts, journaling, raw authentic expression, story telling, rituals, somatic processing, processing through art, simply being with others, and more.

Let’s explore our grief and the threshold of our sorrows; together seeking guidance toward the rest of our lives.

Halie Anderson, AMFT
“My journey through grief has been deep and intimate. I have met grief in many different ways. From the loss of family members, from the pain of abuse, to my own loss of aspects of myself. My life’s journey has brought me deeper to be with the intimacy of my own unique experience of grief and to authentically explore the complexity within the shadows and light that come with grief and loss. I have found that the more I have surrendered to the truth of my grief, the more I can access the totality of the felt sense of being human and healing beings to bloom. I hope to be a presence of support and to meet you where you are at this time of grief.” – Halie
