This section is a work-in-progress. Please feel free to contact us if there’s something we should add here!
1. Is there parking?
At our Activspace building, on 18th street there is street parking. Please allow some extra time to find a space in the area, especially during the weekdays.
At our Retreat Center on Folsom street there is street parking. Civic Center garage is a few blocks away. Street parking is usually fairly easy in that area.
Please see our Contact and Directions page for more info.
1. How long does it take to be assigned?
It varies depending upon your needs, your availability and the current schedules of our matching therapists. We do our best to assign clients to therapists as soon as we possibly can. Clients who have open availability and can work with any therapist can usually be assigned within a few days. Others may take longer. If we haven’t been able to assign you to a therapist within 2 weeks of your consultation we will contact you to let you know the progress. Please feel free to contact the main desk at any time to check in.
2. Do you accept referrals?
Yes! Any agency or clinician is welcome to refer someone to us. Just contact the main desk.
3. How is the sliding scale fee determined?
The fee is determined in your initial consultation appointment. You decide on a fee that works within your budget and fill out a short form. We know that everyone’s situation is different. If you need help deciding you can discuss it with the counselor, or use our income-based chart to help you.
Once a fee is determined it is set. If it needs to change in the future (up or down) you and your therapist will discuss it and fill out a new form.
