Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy
June 21 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy combines the rich tradition of yoga and modern therapeutic approaches and is based on the understanding that one’s history is locked into body tissues. Simple yoga postures, often supported by props and open-ended dialogue, creates non-judgmental space for clients to explore themselves – physically, mentally and emotionally – and to understand the interconnection of all these aspects of self. By supporting clients to greater awareness of the present moment, the correlation of what is happening in their bodies and what is happening in their lives can often be revealed. Each session concludes with an integration process that encourages clients to express new found awareness and then translate these insights into concrete action to implement lasting changes in their lives. While PRYT can be practiced by itself, this method can also be used to enrich other therapeutic settings. Join Claudia Bartsch this day to learn more about this beautiful practice. Offered to the community by donation, no one turned away for lack of funds.
