There is growing scientific evidence that supports ancient wisdom that mindfulness meditation can stabilize the mind and body and it is a foundational tool for managing stress and cultivating lasting states of happiness and ease. By learning to be present to our moment to moment inner and outer experience in a wise, nonjudgmental and non-reactive way, we can bring about many potential benefits including;
-enhancing emotional, psychological and physical wellbeing
-gaining confidence in managing emotions like anxiety, anger and low mood
-lowering stress levels
-discovering how to manage the inner critic and ways of increasing self compassion
-enhancing the quality of our relationships
-improving concentration, productivity and creativity
-developing a more balanced life and enjoying an increasing inner sense of stability, peacefulness and calm.
Who is it For: Everyone is welcome, whether you are new to meditation or are an experienced meditator who would like a refresher. All ages, religions and backgrounds welcome.
*Each week has a different theme and will involve both understanding the theory of mindfulness along with practicing guided meditation and mindfulness techniques. It promises to be interesting, insightful, challenging and potentially life changing!
